About us

Who we are
A medium-sized group—men and women, Americans and Israelis—who dance for the fun of it. We’re an open, recreational group. We range in age from teenagers to senior citizens. We welcome newcomers and out-of-town visitors. You don’t have to be Jewish to catch the Israeli dancing bug.

When we dance
Every
Thursday evening [except on Jewish Holidays]. We dance from 7:45 – 11:00 p.m.. Click on Updates for dates, times,  and special events.

Where we dance:
Solomon Schechter Day School, 348 S. Mason Rd., Creve Coeur, MO 63141.

 What it costs
$5 per person, per session. Pay at the door.

Who’s in charge
We don’t have an official “markid” [translation: dance leader].  We’re a cooperatively run group, in which programming and teaching are shared responsibilities. Believe it or not, this structure works, and we’re surprisingly up-to-date with the dance repertoire.
